Central Bank of India IFSC Code

International Financial System Code (IFSC) is a unique alpha numeric code which identifies a particular bank and its branch which is issued to every participating bank in the two main funds transfer systems viz., RTGS and NEFT. The Central Bank of India being registered with Reserve Bank in India is also a participating branch in RTGS and NEFT funds transfer systems. The IFSC code of Central Bank of India begins with “CBIN” followed by a “zero” and then a six digit numerical code representing the branch of the said Bank, which is also mentioned on each cheque leaf as per RBI mandates.
